Professor Ali Mobasheri from the University of Oulu participated in several major scientific conferences in China in 2023

Professor Ali Mobasheri from the University of Oulu participated in several major scientific conferences in China in 2023. The first conference was the annual conference of Heilongiang Province Rheumatology Association (2023) and osteoarthritis Forum, which was held from 2-4 June 2023 in Harbin, China. This is one of the important symposia focusing on rheumatology in China.

The second was the 2023 Shenzhen Rheumatology and Infection Summit from 21 to 22 July 2023 in Shenzhen, China. This was followed by formal visits to the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 24-27 July 2023, including invited seminars in both institutions and a formal visit to the offices of Professor Rocky Tuan, the President and Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Professor Mobasheri was also invited to the Annual Meeting of the Joint Surgery Society of Guangdong Medical Association (GDMA) from 28-29 July 2023. The visits to Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Guangzhou strengthened existing collaborations and initiated new projects relating to food, nutrition and osteoarthritis.
